SERDANG, June 19, 2019 – Centre for Academic Development (CADe) has received an academic benchmarking visit from the Institut Pendidikan Guru Malaysia (IPGM). The presence of the delegation was headed by Principal Assistant Director, IPGM's Academic Development Centre (PPA), Dr. Hj. Mohd. Nordin Abu Bakar and participated by seven (7) comprising Dr. Chin Peng Yee (PPA), Ustaz Izuddin Muhammed (PPA), Mr. Nor Azman Abd. Wahab (PPA), Dr. Ismail Mohamed (Department of Examination Management and Senate), Mr. Hj. Mohd. Huzaifah Abd. Rahman (Information and Communication Technology Unit), Mr. Amirul Fahmi Abd Razak (Department of Integrity and Quality Management) and Mr. Haza Hafeez Borhan (Department of Leadership and Professional Development). The visit aims to obtain information and advisory services on the development and implementation of the Learning Management System (LMS), Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) and Blended Learning in UPM.

Held at the CADe Meeting Room, 4th Floor, Canselori Putra Building, Director of CADe, Prof. Dr. Muta Harah Zakaria has briefed information on the implementation of e-Learning activities and development conducted by CADe at UPM. The discussion was also joined by Deputy Director of CADe, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nurfadhlina Mohd Sharef and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mohd Zariat Abdul Rani. Also present were Encik Ahmad Nizam Abdullah (Chief of CADe Administration), Mrs. Arina Zafirah Zulkafli and Mr. Mohd Idham Abdul Rashid as Head of Teaching and Learning Innovation Division.
