SERDANG, January 16, 2020 – Centre for Academic Development (CADe), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) has organized a series of PutraBLAST Version 3 (V3) courses on January 13 to 16, 2020 at Exa Training Room, iDEC Alpha, Infoport Putra, UPM Serdang Campus as well as the D ICT Laboratory, UPM Bintulu Sarawak Campus. The training series conducted by five trainers and facilitated by 12 facilitators, comprising members of the Teaching and Learning Innovation Committee (Jawatankuasa Inovasi Pengajaran dan Pembelajaran, JKIPP), was attended by over 200 participants / faculty representatives. PutraBLAST V3 is an existing system that was upgraded to version 3 with the addition of new functionality of the Moodle 3.8 platform. The use of the PutraBLAST V3 (In-Campus) System for undergraduate and postgraduate programs will begin on the Second Semester of Session 2019/2020.

It is hoped that the initiative and the training provided will help UPM's academic staff to use PutraBLAST V3 while promoting e-learning practices in UPM.
